Was not able to upload any photographs as my internet connection got dis-connnected . This is the photograph of Airoli station. This is a platform on the harbour line. The Harbour Line is a branch of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. It is operated by Central Railways. It covers most of Navi Mumbai and the eastern areas of Mumbai. It has all these beautiful platforms with special design to use natural light as much as possible.

Taken at Thane Railway station while going for the job. While traveling a lot for work nowadays I have realized why people say that mumbai is crowded.
83. The Support System
Local trains are said to be the lifeline of Mumbai and after been here for 4 years, now I am sure they truly are. The system carries more than 7.24 million commuters on a daily basis. Here is a composite of two photographs taken during my trips in the Mumbai local trains. lickr link for a better view.
