PEE :P

An interesting result of my first 14 KM photo-walk (there will be more 😛 ). The rainy season and lack of toilets helped me to be able to take so many of these photographs in straight 2 hours.

Recreating Paintings

As the Convener of the photography club of my institute I was part of the organizing team of the Photography and Fine Arts exhibition. That is when I thought of this interesting idea of immitating paintings. Some of the photographs turned out to be good while others are funny.

46. Bracelet

This photoshoot was done to bring out the bracelet. We tried a lot of different things.

It was very difficult to select one best photograph. This photograph has the expressions as well as emphasis on the bracelet. To get the expression right it was taken when she was talking to her boyfriend.

Juhu Beach

Juhu Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Mumbai. It is situated on the shores of Arabian Sea in Juhu suburb. There are three main entrances to the beach. Many tourists make it a point to visit the beach when they come to Mumbai, as it is a relatively uncrowded free space in the city, although it does get crowded in the evenings and weekends. It is famous for its Mumbai street food, notably bhelpuri, pani puri, chaats, and of course pav bhaji.

39. Light and Life

Taken at my village, I like this photograph for the natural black gradients that frames the mother and the daughter. As I took some time in shooting, they noticed me and started looking in the camera. Photography is a interesting activity as you never know when people will become angry on taking their photograph and when they will start giving you poses.

38. Rush Hour

This photograph was taken at IIT Bombay campus. It was part of a exercise to find the point in time when all participating elements harmonized to make a good design. I took some time to fix my vantage point. As I was shooting Black & White I decided on having this bright ground as background to give contrast.

37. Tea

Taken at Rewari Railway Station while waiting for the train. Composed of two very basic thing in life of Indian people- Tea and train.

32. Waiting for the train

I took this shot from the bridge while deboarding the train. I like the lights and the interaction between various elements in this photograph.
